Learning Outcomes For the Year 3 to 6
Term 1
-Develop ad Demonstrate Safety and Fair Play in a variety of physical activities
-Participate daily in moderate to vigorous physical activity
-Demonstrates and understands the movement concept of getting into open space in invasion games
-Demonstrates manipulative fundamental movement skill of: dribbling with hands
Term 2
-Developed, refined and applies manipulative fundamental movement skills through the exploration of Net/Wall games (overhand throw and two handed catch)
-Understands and demonstrates Net/Wall strategies and movement concepts such as: ready position, communication and ball placement
-Explore and describe strategies for healthy eating
-Demonstrate ability to work in team setting (snow day challenges)
Term 3
-Demonstrate manipulative fundamental movement skill of: striking with feet
- Understands and demonstrates the movement concept of getting on base (ball placement, hitting grounders) through the exploration of Striking and Fielding games
- Understands and demonstrates the movement concept of defending space (base coverage, cut-off plays) through the exploration of Striking and Fielding games

Term 2
Net Wall Games Unit: Net Wall Games are activities in which players send an object towards a court or target area that an opponent is defending. The aim is to cause the object to land in the target area while making it difficult for the opponent to return the object. Ex: Volleyball, badminton, squash, pickleball, tennis

Striking and Fielding Games Unit: Striking and Fielding Games are activities in which players score points by striking an object and running to designated playing areas or prevent opponents from scoring by retrieving the object and returning it to stop the play.
