Term 1

-Develop ad Demonstrate Safety and Fair Play in a variety of physical activities

-Participate daily in moderate to vigorous physical activity

-Demonstrates and understands the movement concept of getting into open space in invasion games

-Demonstrates and understands the movement concept of defending space in invasion games

Term 2

-Developed, refined and applied manipulative fundamental movement skill of serving through the exploration of Net/Wall games

-Understands and demonstrates movement concept of attacking as a team (position coverage, transitioning and communication) in Net/Wall games

-Understands and demonstrates movement concept of defending space on own court (ready position, reading the ball, adjusting position) in Net/Wall games

-Practiced forearm pass (bumping) and setting (no formal assessment - just introduction)

-Through exploration of striking and fielding games, developed, refined and applies manipulative fundamental movement skill of: throwing and catching

-Understands and demonstrates the movement concept of getting on base (ball placement, hitting grounders) through the exploration of Striking and Fielding games

-Understands and demonstrates the movement concept of defending space (base coverage, cut-off plays) through the exploration of Striking and Fielding games
